Health and Wellness

Physicals and Immunizations
District 69 partners with Advocate Children’s Hospital Ronald McDonald Care Mobile to provide physicals and immunizations to eligible students on-site within our schools

Dental Services
Preferred Dentistry provides on-site dental cleanings and sealants to all District 69 students twice per year. Students are seen during the school day in order to miss the least amount of instruction possible

Flu shots
This partnership between the Village of Skokie, Advocate Children’s Hospital Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, and District 69, provides on-site flu shots to any District 69 student

Vision exams and glasses
Select students are eligible for vision exams and glasses through partnerships with Lenscrafters and Ageless Eyecare

Breakfast After the Bell
Breakfast After the Bell is a breakfast program offering late breakfast to students who arrive after the standard school breakfast hours. Students are able to pick up breakfast on their way to class so they have the fuel to be ready to learn

After school snack program
Greater Chicago Food Depository and after school program partners work together to provide free after school snack to any student staying for programming after the school day ends

District 69 partners with several after school program providers to bring a variety of academic and enrichment opportunities to our students. In addition to our wonderful partners, District 69 sponsors several after school clubs allowing students to explore a variety of interests

Internet Hotspot program
Thanks to a grant from Fund 69/PTO, District 69 was able to purchase 19 internet hotspots. Students are able to check out the hotspots for 1 semester at a time from the libraries at Edison and Lincoln schools

Our Family and Community Engagement committee plans and coordinates several family events throughout the year including: Family Nights, Cultural Night, Block Party

Adult ESL Classes
