KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

How do I register my Kindergarten student?

Step 1: In order to complete online registration in Infinite Campus, you will need a Parent Portal account. Please click here to create your account.

Step 2: Once you submit the initial information to create a Parent Portal account, you will receive an email with follow-up instructions and a link to continue with online registration

You must finish this final step of the registration process as soon as possible for enrollment to be considered complete.

What registration documents do I need to complete to register my Kindergarten student?

To register your Kindergarten student, you will need:

          1. An original birth certificate
          2. 2018-2019 Kindergarten Enrollment Form
          3. Proof of Residency Requirements
          4. Home Language Survey – English • Spanish • Arabic • Urdu
          5. Kindergarten Health Packet

PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION

TOPS (Teaching our Preschoolers) Pre-K provides a developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum with an emphasis on literacy. Families have the option of morning or afternoon classes for children that are ages 3 or 4 by September 1, 2018. Students must live in School District 69 to enroll in preschool.

How do I register my child for preschool?

What registration documents do I need to complete?

To register your child for preschool, you will need:

          1. An original birth certificate or passport/I-94/Green Card or Visa
          2. TOPS Enrollment Form
          3. Proof of Income Form
          4. Family History & Student Information
          5. Certification of Child Health Examination Form
          6. Data Collection Form
          7. Preschool Immunization Requirements
          8. Consent for Preschool Screening
          9. Proof of Residency Requirements
          10. Home Language Survey – English • Spanish • Arabic • Urdu

RETURNING STUDENTS

Online registration for returning students grades 1st through 8th will begin on March 1, 2018. In order to complete online registration, you will need an active Parent Portal account through Infinite Campus. You can access the Parent Portal here: https://sis.niles-hs.k12.il.us/campus/portal/niles.jsp

If you do not have an active Parent Portal account, please contact your school office for assistance in setting up a new account.

HEALTH PACKETS


PORTAL FOR FEES, GRADES, AND ATTENDANCE

District 69 uses Infinite Campus for the student information system. Parents can access Infinite Campus here: https://sis.niles-hs.k12.il.us/campus/portal/niles.jsp. You will need the code that was given to you when you completed registration. Students are able to use their network usernames and passwords to access the system. SUMMER EXPLORATION 

In partnership with the Skokie Park District, District 69 is excited to host a NEW 4-week Summer Exploration program for students entering Grades 1-3! The morning portion of Summer Exploration will expose students to problem-based learning experiences through STEM and literacy. In the afternoon, the Skokie Park District will host a summer camp exclusively for our Summer Exploration students at Madison. There will be 10 open spots per grade level, and priority will be given to students who can commit to attending all 4 weeks. We hope to see you this summer!

NEW STUDENTS

We welcome and encourage you to register for the upcoming school year by completing the following steps:

  • Make an appointment with your school secretary as soon as possible
  • Complete the following paperwork and please bring them to your appointment
  • Submit proof of Residency
  • Pay School Fees
    • Fee Statement 
    • Fee Waiver Application– if financial assistance is needed. Fee waiver requests must include required supporting documentation. Applications are reviewed beginning in July.
  • After you have submitted your paperwork at your appointment a Parent Portal account will be created and you will receive an email with follow-up instructions and a link to continue with online registration.
