• Do you enjoy spoken word, singing, dancing, rapping, and standing up for what’s right? Then join Y.O.U’s DCU club. DCU is a special performance event created by Y.O.U. to celebrate MLK day on January 20th, 2020. If you’re interested and want to participate in this amazing event to showcase your talent, please report to the Learning Commons after school today for an informational meeting.
  • A recess reminder for all students: Please bring coats with you to lunch for outdoor recess – you will not be able to go to your locker during lunch. Also a reminder that throwing of snow is not allowed.
  • The STEM lab will be open from 3-5 on THURSDAY this week for competition teams.  This meeting is optional and is for competition teams ONLY.
  • Attention Art Squad: Please remember we are extending our meeting times this week to paint our mural. Art squad will meet Thursday and Friday from 3-5. Students taking the bus will be excused at 4 with work continuing until 5 for those who can stay. Please see Lowery with questions.
  • Congratulations to Art Squad as they are being honored at tonight’s board meeting. Thank you for your time and efforts to help beautify Lincoln and we hope to see you at the District Office at 7 tonight.
  • The district 69 Chess Tournament will take place Saturday, December 14th at Edison School.  See Mrs. Mihalopoulos in the Learning Commons to pick up tournament forms.
  • Congratulations to the 6th grade girls basketball team on an awesome win against Park View last night.  Keep it up!
  • Don’t forget to bring your money to donate during lunch so you can help decide which teachers get pied! So far 6th Grade has a 4-way tie between Mrs. Mell, Mrs. Leighton, Mrs. Nick, and Mrs. Bowker! 7th-Grade has Mr. Granato in the lead, and 8th grade is a tie between Mrs. King and Mrs. Bye!
